HK Helper ProPrivacy policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information HK Helper Pro collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. HK Helper Pro operates the website and application that connect domestic helpers and employers in Hong Kong.
HK Helper Pro provides a helper matching and communication platform. Formal employment arrangements are handled by a licensed employment agency (Labour Department licence 82273) or partner agencies. You can reach us at support@hkhelperpro.com.
We collect account details (name, email, phone), profile information you provide (such as work experience, skills, availability, and photos), interview and application activity, messages, device and usage data, and payment records for token purchases.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) to create and secure your account. When you book a video interview, we use Google Meet to generate a meeting link. HK Helper Pro's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it or transfer it to third parties except to provide or improve this service, comply with law, or with your consent.
We use your information to operate the platform: to authenticate you, build and display helper and employer profiles, match candidates, arrange and host interviews, process token purchases, send service notifications, provide support, and keep the service secure.
We share information with the licensed employment agency and partner agencies to progress a match or interview, and with service providers who help us run the platform (for example Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in and Meet, and email delivery). We may disclose information where required by law. Private contact details are not public by default during the matching flow.
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. You may ask us to delete your account and associated data.
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Subject to applicable Hong Kong law (including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent for optional processing. Contact support@hkhelperpro.com to exercise these rights.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the date below.
